Shakib dines with ‘BCSA 75 Blast’ champion team

Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan graced his presence in a refreshment dinner celebration arranged for the champion team of BCSA 75 Blast competition on Sunday at the newly opened branch of Shakib’s seventy five restaurant.

With an aim to make tribute to the global icon of Bangladesh cricket Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh Cricket Supporters Association (BCSA) organized a six-a-side tournament on 13th of December, 2019 comprised of six teams.

Significantly all the teams were named after the teams in which Shakib represented in different period of times throughout his career.

Kolkata Knight Riders 75 lifted the title defeating Peshwar Zalmi 75. Other teams in the tournament were Dhaka Dynamites 75, Adelaide Strikers 75, Peshwar Zalmi 75, Leicestershire Foxes 75 and Jamaica Tallawahs 75. 

All the winning team members, owners of the team were present in the festivity on January 12th. After the opening phase and dinner, everyone participated in the photo session with Shakib Al Hasan.

It can be noted that, NOhep conducted a campaign in the tournament in order to increase public awareness against hepatitis thus “NOhep” became the awareness partner of the tournament. Head of Programm, World Hepatitis Alliance, Jessica Hicks also sent a special message for the occasion.

Secretary General of National Liver Foundation of Bangladesh and a NOhep Visionary Prof. Mohammad Ali, inaugurated the event and urged the participants to carry the message of NOhep in their respective arena.
