Shakib who is currently engaged with the Indian Premier League (IPL), has bagged so many records in his tally so far in his career. He is now very close to an another record as the 32-year old all-rounder is only 6 wickets away from becoming the only 5th bowler in the history of T20 cricket to capture 300 wickets.
Caribbean all-rounder Dj Bravo tops the list with highest 413 wickets from 375 matches and also the only bowler in the history of cricket to capture more than 400 T20 wickets. Sri Lanka pacer Lasith Malinga is in the second position of the list with 348 wickets while Windies spinner is in number 4 picking up 316 wickets. The next man in the list who is ahead of Shakib is, Pakistan bowling legend Shahid Afridi as he has picked up exactly 300 wickets in his T20 career.
To be noted, Shakib maintains an economy rate of less than seven in the shortest format of cricket and averages 20.42 with ball.
