India announce squad for 4th and 5th Test
At the beginning of the series, the selection committee of BCCI had announced the squad for first three Tests only. With eight days to go for the fourth Test, the squad for the last two Tests has been announced by BCCI.
The first concern in the squad selection is the place of opening batsman Murali Vijay. After his poor performances in all the recent Test series of India, he lost his place in the team for last two Tests.
In place of him, India U19 star player Prithvi Shaw has received his maiden Test call up to the team after his awesome performances for India A in the recently concluded England series and South Africa series.
Simultaneously the middle order batsman Hanuma Vihari has also received his maiden test call up to the Test team. He is also carrying his form from the domestic tournaments to the recently concluded India A series.
