She’s unbelieveable and an amazing sport: Ganguly on PM Sheikh Hasina


Sheikh Hasina, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh was present on the first day of the pink-ball Test after the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly invited her.

Though it was a one-sided Test, the historic Test at the Eden Gardens of Kolkata was celebrated in style with the presence of many former cricketers from India and Bangladesh. The most valuable presence was the Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, who came after getting the invitation of Sourav Ganguly.

After the end of the second Test, the BCCI president spoke about the Prime Minister and also revealed that he was stunned by her interest for the game.

“Your honourable Prime Minister is unbelievable. She’s an amazing sport. A prime minister saying to me I will not go to the hotel, I will watch the entire day here. One can not imagine that. So please send my love and well wishes to her,” he said.

Ganguly also said that he will come to Bangladesh in March next year on the birthday of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
