Smith pours more praise on Kohli

Australian star batsman Steve Smith has some more praise words for Indian skipper Virat Kohli and termed the batting numbers of Indian skipper as incredible.

Virat Kohli and Steve Smith are the two giant batting monsters in the world cricket at the moment. They are the most celebrated players of this generation and there is also a healthy competition between both players in terms of batting numbers.

At the same time both players never failed to appreciate each other when they get chance. Like that Steve Smith now praised the batting numbers of Virat Kohli and termed him as the best in all three formats.

“Yeah, he is terrific. His batting numbers just speak for themselves. I think he’s an incredible player in all three formats and I think we will see him break many records. He’s already broken plenty of them and I see him breaking many more over the years. He has got the hunger for runs and doesn’t stop getting them. Hopefully, he can stop getting them against Australia, that’ll be nice,” Smith quoted.

At the sams time, Smith remembered the famous nostalgic moment between both players during the game between India and Australia during ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Kohli asked Indian fans to encourage Steve Smith instead of booing at him.

“In the World Cup it was really nice of Virat to do what he did. He did not have to do that and yeah it was a lovely gesture and really appreciated that,” Smith said.
