Sohan to lead Bangladesh against UAE

Two matches of the series will be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 25 and 27. Both the matches will start at 8 pm Bangladesh time. The Tigers will leave the country on Thursday (September 22) at 5:30 pm for the series. After the series, they will return to the country on September 28.

Before the T20 World Cup and tri-series, Bangladesh will play two T20Is against the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Those two matches will start at 8 pm Bangladesh time. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed this in a press release.
Bangladesh wanted to hold a conditioning camp in the UAE for last-minute preparations before the tri-series and the T20 World Cup. On that occasion, the UAE board proposed to organize an international series between the two teams. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) also agreed to that proposal.

Vice-captain Nurul Hasan Sohan will lead the team in his absence. Shoriful Islam, Soumya Sarkar and Rishad Hossain got a place in the team of this series despite being named in the reserves of the T20 World Cup and tri-nation series squad.
