Earlier, Boucher confirmed that AB de Villiers would be considered for upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 in Australia later this year if he made himself available for the national team.

Boucher said at a Standard Bank support’s occasion in Bloemfontein.

“We’ve despite everything got many games (before the World Cup). From the first of June, which is the Sri Lanka visit, those players need to make themselves available. Regardless of whether we select them is another story.

“But they have to make themselves available if they need to put their hands up for a World Cup spot.”

De Villiers announced his retirement from international cricket in May 2018. But he’s continuing his destructive form in different franchise T20 leagues.
