Sri Lanka to tour South Africa for a two-Test series

According to media reports on Sunday, Sri Lanka will make a tour to South Africa in coming December to play a two-test series.For both of them, it is going to be the return in international cricket after a long 10-month gap due to the outbreak of global pandemic.

The two-test series will commence from 26th of December. The venues of Test matches are yet to be finalized although reports saying that the first match is likely to take place in Durban or Port Elizabeth while the second and last Test to be happened in Cape Town.

In their last tour to South Africa back in 2019, Sri Lanka became the first Asian team to win a Test series there.

In the coming month, Sri Lanka Premier League Twenty20 competition will start where top rated Sri Lankan cricketers will participate. Several of the South African cricketers like skipper Faf du Plessis and David Miller are likely to appear in the tournament as well.
