Sujon-Mushfiq reaches Bangladesh in rush
Although Sujon and Mushfiqur have returned to the country, the rest of the Bangladesh team will arrive on January 15.
Bangladesh team, which concluded its tour of New Zealand, will officially return home next Saturday (January 15). But before that, two members of Bangladesh Khaled Mahmud Sujan and Mushfiqur Rahim have returned to the country.
Despite the team remaining in New Zealand, Sujan and Mushfiqur returned to the country. They boarded on a Singapore Airlines flight and landed in Dhaka at 9 pm on Wednesday (January 12). Reaching Dhaka, team director Sujon and star batsman Mushfiqur are currently visiting their families.
However, the duo will does has a chance to rest for long. National team director Khaled Mahmud Sujon will be the coach of Fortune Barisal in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). He will have to join the team soon to start preparations for the BPL with the likes- Shakib Al Hasan and Mujib Ur Rahman.
On the other hand, Mushfiqur will play for Khulna Tigers in BPL this time. He is directly involved in all important activities including team formation in Khulna. So soon he will have to go to work in BPL.
Although Sujon and Mushfiqur have returned to the country, the rest of the Bangladesh team will arrive on January 15. According to a BCB source who briefed Bdcrictime, the cricketers will leave New Zealand for Bangladesh on January 14.
The cricketers will arrive in the country on the 15th. Returning the destination, cricketers will be busy with BPL. After a few days of rest, they will start practicing from 17-18. However, none of the foreign members of the coaching panel will come in this flight.
