As Hathurusingha’s exit is almost near, its time for the BCB to find a new coach. Many reports claiming that Khaled Mahmud Sujon can be the interim coach until BCB finds a high profile coach.
Sujon informed that he is ready to take the role and also said that coaching Bangladesh is not a tough task. He said: “I don’t think it is a tough task. Motivation is very important. The plannings has to be good. I don’t know whether I will get the role or not, but if I get then I will try to do my level best.”
He also thinks he has what its need to be a coach: “I think I have the practice. I took many challenges before. I have been playing this role for last few years. I have the experience.”
When asked if he thinks there was miscommunication between the players and the coach, Sujon said: “I don’t think so. The senior players are here for a long time. Sometimes opinions doesn’t match during team selections, but is something very obvious.”
