Speaking to media in Mirpur on Wednesday (June 22), Taskin said, "Injuries can happen at any time. You too can sprain your legs while walking now (laughs). So there’s nothing to fear, injuries can occur. I will try my best when I get down to play. In case of injury, I will rehab again and come back. It could happen. I can be injured while playing for the country. I will try again to come back.”
Taskin's focus is now performing well against West Indies, overcoming the fear of injury. He added, “Actually every series is tough if I am injured or not. This is also a challenge, I have to take the challenge. I will proceed in that way. Pray that may God keep me healthy. Still, if I get Injured, I can say to myself I give my best.”
