Ten Bangladeshi cricketers to perform in PSL – 2017

The second edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to be on the field soon. According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) it will come on the field from February of next year. (নিউজটি বাংলায় পড়ূনঃ পিএসএলের ড্রাফটে ১০ জন বাংলাদেশী ক্রিকেটার)


Before starting this battle officially all the five teams who are going to participate in this edition will get a chance to gather their preferable players on 19th October as the player draft segment of this tournament will be held on this day.

Before this interesting segment of this high profile T-20 league, PCB has declared the list of the cricketers who are in the player draft. Including local and overseas players there are a total of 414 cricketers.

They have divided these cricketers into five grades: these are – Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging. Total ten Bangladeshi cricketers are going to be a part of this segment and they are Shakib Al Hasan (Platinum), Mustafizur Rahman (Gold), Shahriar Nafees (Gold), Tamim Iqbal (Gold), Anamul Haque (Silver), Imrul Kayes (Silver), Mominul Haque (Silver), Sabbir Rahman (Silver), Shuvagata Hom (Silver), and Soumya Sarkar (Silver). As expected Shakib Al Hasan is in the Platinum Category. While Tamim Iqbal, Shahriar Nafees and Mustafizur Rahman have found their names in the gold category. Other six Bangladeshi cricketers are in silver category.

PSL governing council has made the decision to raise players’ salaries by 10 percent across all categories this time. Besides, they are planning to organize the final of this tournament in Pakistan.

t is to inform that four Bangladeshi cricketers Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mustafizur Rahman and Mushfiqur Rahim has taken part in first edition of Pakistan Super league.
