The words that boosted up England's confident
England National Cricket team has managed to snatch a win over Bangladesh National Cricket Team at the very first match of the three match bilateral series by 21 runs at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. But the result could be different and none would complain if it happened. Because the victory of Bangladesh team was more expected as the result of this match!
While chasing a target of 310 runs the score of the tigers was 271 runs for four wickets at a stage. Only 39 runs were needed from 52 balls. Two well set Batsmen Shakib Al Hasan and Imrul Kayes were at the crease. But suddenly the scores turned into 288 for ten and Bangladesh has lost the match by 21 runs!
Yes, it is hard to accept this result and you may find many reasons behind this unexpected defeat of tigers but you must have to praise the English bowling. All credit goes to the bowlers and they have done it for their team. But what is the thing that suddenly boosted up England’s confident level to win this match?
The white-ball captain of England National Cricket Team Jos Buttler has revealed the mystery during the press briefing after the first match. Buttler said – “One of the lads was down with cramp and Stokesy (Ben Stokes) dragged everyone together. He is quite forceful when he speaks and he said ‘lets fight to the end and give it everything,”
Ben Stokes himself has contributed a lot to this victory with his bat. He has scored valuable 101 runs from 100 balls which helped his team to put 309 runs on the board.
