It is supposed that Mosaddek Hossain also joins with them but fortunately selectors keep him with the Test team prior to the second Test match of the series. To be noted, selectors are in a dilemma about Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes who had suffered little injury during the third and last T20I match in Mount Maunganui. Although their condition are not serious, team management keep Mosaddek with the team as the backup.

Test series between Bangladesh and New Zealand will be kick off from 12 January at Wellington. Tigers have been already reached in Wellington prior to the first Test match. Second and last Test match of this series will be held in Christchurch, which is scheduled to begin from 20 January.
