Tigers skipper not willing to take pressure of defeat
Setting aside the second match of the three match ODI series, the synopsis of the first and last one day international match ran down similarly, the initial was in favor of Bangladesh and the last one was for the home team Sri Lanka.
Visiting Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by a huge margin of 90 runs in the beginning match of the series; after rain washed out the second ODI, Sri Lanka came back strongly with a win of 70 runs in the third and final ODI of series.
Tiger captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza later said there is nothing to be feel pressured right now. “No, there is nothing of taking pressure” – he said, “Our next mission is against Ireland. We don’t want to think much about the previous series (against Sri Lanka). The weather was extremely hot out there in Colombo. We should rectify our mistakes before playing the next match” – Mashrafe said.
But Tiger skipper told the frustration is prevailing in the team for not being able to win the series, “It’s not only me, my whole team is frustrated. But there was not the end. We have games ahead of us. We will go to Ireland and then Champions Trophy is also knocking. The main reason is to find out the reasons behind this and work out on that.”
