Title sponsors for Bangabandhu T20 Cup named

The title sponsors for Bangabandhu T20 Cup 2020 have been announced just two days before the start of the tournament.

Walton has been named as the title sponsor while eFood is the co-sponsor. The tournament will thus be called ‘Walton Bangabandhu T20 Cup 2020 powered by eFood’.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has worked hard in arranging the five-team tournament, which is the second competitive cricket tournament since pandemic in Bangladesh. Earlier, the players took part in BCB President’s Cup last month.

Beximco Dhaka will take on Minister Group Rajshahi in the opening match on Tuesday (November 24). Fortune Barishall and Gemcon Khulna will play in the second match of the day.

In total, 24 matches will be played in the tournament. T Sports, Bangladesh’s first sports channel, and Gazi Television (GTV) will telecast all the matches live from Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
