Twitter reacts to T Natarajan’s yorker exhibition

The skipper of Delhi Capitals, Shreyas Iyer decided to bowl first after winning the toss against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Batting first SRH openers, David Warner and Jonny Bairstow put pressure on the DC bowlers.

David Warner was in the aggressive mode as he scored 45 off 33 deliveries. Manish Pandey who came to bat at number three did not have any answer to Amit Mishra’s delivery as he could score just 3 runs.

The skipper of Kiwis, Kane Williamson joined hands with Bairstow and the duo put the DC bowlers under pressure as Bairstow and Williamson scored 53 and 41 runs respectively. With the help of brilliant knocks from Warner, Bairstow and Williamson, SRH posted a decent total of 162 on their board.

While chasing the moderate target of 163, the Delhi Capitals’ batsmen did not show any intent to chase the target as they lost their wickets at regular interval. Their key players like Dhawan, Iyer and Pant played run-a-ball knocks that increased the required run-rate.

Though Shimron Hetmyer and Marcus Stoinis played some aggressive shots, they could not survive against SRH bowlers. Sunrisers Hyderabad registered their first win of the tournament by beating Delhi Capitals by 15 runs. Rashid Khan, who took three important wickets, received the man of the match award.

T Natarajan’s yorker after yorkers was the highlight of the match:

While defending the decent total of 162, Sunrisers Hyderabad needed someone who could stop the Delhi batsmen from hitting the boundaries. The left-arm pacer from Tamil Nadu took the responsibility, bowling five unplayable yorkers on the 14th over of second inning.
