VIDEO: Daniel Sams dislodging the bails to gift a free-hit for a six

The Australian all-rounder, Daniel Sams made his debut in the cash-rich T20 league during the game against Kings XI Punjab. While loading up his bowling action, he dislodged the bails with his hands at the non-striker’s end.

As he touched the stumps while bowling, he was rewarded a no-ball, only to get hit for a six on the free-hit delivery. Daniel Sams was included in the playing eleven by replacing Anrich Nortje.

The Delhi Capitals has been in tremendous form in the ongoing season of the tournament. They have won 7 games out of first 9 games and almost sealed the spot in the top 4.

As they are in a good position, they have decided to give Anrich Nortje a rest before the playoffs. In place of Nortje, the left-arm pacer from Australia, Daniel Sams was included in the side.

Sams, who has done a brilliant for his franchise in the Big Bash League (BBL), did not have a good start to the tournament. After bowling a no-ball by dislodging the bails, he was smashed for a huge six by KL Rahul.

However, even after conceding 9 runs in his first 3 deliveries, kept his calm and bowled really well to give just 13 runs in his first two overs.
