England showed an exceptional performance throughout the series and the work paid off with the series win. England completed a series sweep of 2-0, and now they will head towards the bigger challenge in India.

Throughout the series, England cricketers had a special fan named Rob Lewis. The English superfan is staying in Sri Lanka for more than 10 months for the series. The Englishman came to Sri Lanka last year during March, where the series was scheduled to play originally. But the pandemic situation made to postpone the series.

Rob has stayed in Sri Lanka for months of time and finally, his wait turned out to be worth it. Unfortunately, he wasn’t allowed to enter the stadium due to the COVID-19 restrictions in Sri Lanka. However, he found himself in a way to cheer his men on the field.

He was there in the Galle International Stadium throughout the series and cheered the visitors. As an appreciation, English cricketers gave a massive acknowledgment to Rob Lewis on day four of the second Test, where England clinched the series win.
