Viral video: MS Dhoni hints at post-retirement plans on Instagram

With age and form being the two key factors to determine one’s future in Indian cricket, MS Dhoni is probably next in line to retire from international cricket. In fact, there were quite a lot of talks about his retirement but he himself triggered the hot topic by disclosing what he might prefer to do after he retires from the game.

In a video which is doing the rounds on social media platforms, MS Dhoni flaunted three beautiful paintings and said that he wanted to reveal a secret. He then went on to disclose what he actually wanted to become since his childhood.

“I wanted to share a secret with all of you. Right from childhood I always wanted to become an artist, I have played a lot of cricket so I decided it’s time for me now to take up what I wanted so I have made a few paintings.”

The first painting appears to be a landscape drawing, the second one of which he describes ‘something which can become a mode of transport in future.’

He mentioned that the third one as his favourite. He said that replica of him while batting in CSK jersey.

After listening to his secret, one can come to a firm conclusion that he might call it quits from the ODI format after the summer’s showpiece event scheduled to be held in England and Wales from May 30.

MS Dhoni who stepped down from Test cricket in 2014 garnered as many as 10,500 ODI runs from 341 games. He boasts a pretty good average of 50.72 with 10 centuries and 71 half-centuries.
