One aspect of franchise cricket is that local cricketers can share the dressing room with all the big cricketers. Young cricketers can learn from them. With that in mind, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) organizes BPL. Where all the popular players of the world come to play regularly.

Nasir played for Chattogram Challengers in the last edition of BPL. Caribbean batting giant Gayle was part of that team. Gayle, despite being a great cricketer, Nasir said that there’s nothing to learn from him.

“I don’t think there’s anything to learn from Gayle. I don’t think he works too hard in his personal life. Gayle actually plays with his power and strength,”

Nasir said during Bdcrictime live adda.

In the previous edition, the 28-year old all-rounder played for Sylhet Sixers. Where he got Aussie star opener Warner as captain. He learned a lot from Warner, who played BPL for the first time in his career.

“There is a lot to learn from Warner,” he said. “He’s very aggressive on the field. His thoughts are very positive. He never comes down to play thinking about lose. No matter where he is, he always wants to win. He never wants to lose. I think Warner is a fighter.”
