On Tuesday, Australia vice captain David Warner hit by the head during a preparation match in the camp. Therefore Cricket Australia stated Warner will be fully eligible to play the bilateral series on time.

The opener was hit in the neck by a delivery of Josh Hazlewood as he missed the bouncer from the quick; Warner dropped to his knees after the blow.
