Australian co-captain for Melbourne Test Archie Schiller received a warm welcome from the Indian players at the end of the Test match.

Archie gets baggy green

The 7-year old named Archie Schiller, who fought too many battles in life had been added into the Australian squad for the Boxing Day Test after a strong recommendation from the head coach Justin Langer.

Archie Schiller is a typical leg-spinner like his idol Shane Warne. His biggest dream is to play for Australia and be with the team atmosphere. As soon as Justin Langer knew the news about the kid, he made strong recommendations and added Archie Schiller into the squad for the Boxing Day Test against India.

As promised the kid was handed over his debut Test cap for Australia before the match. A day before the Test match he was named as the Australian co-captain and also participated in Toss along with the skipper Tim Paine.

Archie Schiller was with the Australian line-up throughout the whole Test match in Melbourne Cricket Ground. At the end of the Test match, Archie received a warm welcome from the opponents too.

At the end of the match, players had the formal greetings. Archie Schiller also came along with the Australian players and greeted the Indian players. Indian players also gave a warm reception to the Australian co-captain at the end of the match.
