New Zealand player Martin Guptill took another spectacular catch to dismiss Australian batsman Steve Smith in the ongoing Trans-Tasmanian rivalry game in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Australian skipper Aaron Finch won the toss and elected bat first. This time Australian openers had an off day as both of them returend to pavilion with low scores. Steve Smith also did the same thing but he lost his wicket to a blinder from Martin Guptill.

On the second ball of the 12h over, Ferguson bowled a short delivery as part of the plan to dismiss Smith. New Zealand had already placed Martin Guptill at leg-gully for the pull shot and Smith failed to beat that trap. Ferguson bowled a short delivery and Smith duly pulled. At first, Smith looked safe before Matin Gupitll made a breathtaking dive to take the catch with single hand.
