The Test series between South Africa and Australia offered a lot of drama and controversies throughout the series and most of them were pretty series. But in the second day of the fourth Test, a funny incident happened during the 31st over.

South Africa wicket-keeper Quinton de Kock missed the stumping of Shaun Marsh who was on 15 at that time due to bee sting. In Keshav Maharaj’s over, Marsh came down the pitch and missed the ball and what would have been quite an easy stumping for de Kock was ruined by the Bee.

Commentators Shane Warne and Mark Nicholas originally thought Marsh may have got an edge, leaving de Kock unable to react in time. But the gloveman was clutching his upper arm.

The same eagle-eyed South African television camera operators who caught Cameron Bancroft ball-tampering during the third Test, showed it was in fact a bee which had stung de Kock on his left arm at the exact moment as the stumping opportunity. But in the end, Maharaj still managed to dismiss Marsh on day two.
