Watch: Joint brilliance of MS Dhoni and Jadeja to dismiss Maxwell

Australian hitter Glenn Maxwell was dismissed in the third ODI between India and Australia with the combined effort of MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja.

India are hosting Australia a limited overs series in home. After losing the two-match T20I series, now the hosts are dominating in the ODI series with a comprehensive win in the series opener followed by a thrilling win in the second ODI after last over drama.

The third game of the series is being played at MS Dhoni’s home town Ranchi. Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After put into bat first, Australian batsmen had a pure display of batting against the Indian bowlers specially the openers Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja. Following the great start from the openers, Glenn Maxwell who came at no.3 position also had some aggressive batting display.

The right-handed batsman scored 47 runs and he was dismissed on a special effort jointly from MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja.  Kuldeep bowled a delivery outside off to Shaun Marsh, who punched it towards cover. Jadeja stopped the ball at the covers and immediately threw it to Dhoni, who hit the stumps at one go off his return which resulted in Maxwell going back as Dhoni catches him short with a very quick flick on from the throw towards the stumps.
