Watch: Langer involves in heated argument with match referee over Jadeja’s concussion substitute
Australian head coach Justin Langer and skipper Aaron Finch involved in a heated argument with match referee, regarding the concussion substitute of Ravindra Jadeja in the ongoing first T20I.
India and Australia are sweating out in the first game of the three-match T20I series at Manuka Oval, Canberra. Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first. After being put in to bat first, India scored 161 runs in the allocated 20 overs, with Ravindra Jadeja’s power hitting in the end.
Unfortunately, the player is unavailable for the second innings as he is facing some concussion issues after being hit on the helmet in the final over of the Indian innings. At the same time, he was struggling with his hamstring too.
Before the start of the second innings, Indian team management confirmed that Ravindra Jadeja will not be taking the field and he is been continuously assessed by the medico team regarding concussion. Yuzvendra Chahal has been named as his concussion substitute.
