Watch: Sreesanth rattles Fabid’s stumps with a gem of a delivery
Sreesanth is one of the best fast bowlers of Indian cricket. He was part of the Indian cricket team that won the ICC T20 World Cup 2007 and ICC ODI World Cup 2011. The right-arm fast bowler is known for his ability to deceive the world-class batsmen with superb deliveries.
After his ban came to an end in late September 2020, the fast bowler has been quite busy working on his bowling technique. There were many videos of him sweating it out in the training session. In fact, he dismissed many batsmen at the nets with quality deliveries.
The pacer breathed a sigh of relief after he was named in Kerala probable list for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Ahead of the tournament, the pacer took part in a couple of warm-up games where he showcased his mettle at the best scene.
He may be 37 years old but the manner in which he took a wicket in the practice game showed that he still has some more years of cricket left in him. The fast bowler himself made it quite clear that he has up to 7 more years of playing days left in his career.
Sreesanth makes a comeback to cricket
The fast bowler made a grand comeback to competitive cricket when he played for Kerala in the SMAT match against Puducherry. The fast bowler impressed the cricket fraternity by taking a wicket in his second over.
During the third over of the match, Sreesanth bowled a dot ball to opener Fabid Ahmed. In the next ball, the right-handed batsman was beaten all ends up as the fast bowler rattled his off-stump at the best scene.
Sreesanth who is known for his animated celebration brought up his crazy celebration after taking his first wicket in the competitive game after 7 years. The video of him taking the wicket and thanking the pitch is doing the rounds on social media portals.

Puducherry scored 138/6 in their quota of overs. In reply, Kerala chased down the target with 10 balls to spare. Kerala captain Sanju Samson was the pick of the batsmen as he scored 32 off 26 including 3 fours and 2 sixes.
Sreesanth had a dream day at the office as he took a wicket to his name, giving away 29 runs in his spell of 4 overs. This is just a beginning for the pacer and he will be hoping to deliver more for his team in the games to come.
