Saurashtra lost three early wickets and Cheteshwar Pujara and Sheldon Jackson are building the chase for them. They still need 55 runs to win with one more day to go.
The incident occurred when Pujara was batting on 34 from 70 balls with Saurashtra’s score on 68 for the loss of three wickets. Vinay Kumar bowled a full-length delivery at outside the off stump and Pujara tried to push the ball, but the ball made a faint edge with the bat and went into the keeper’s gloves.
The bowling team went for a huge appeal but the on-field umpire didn’t make any move and gave not out. That made them frustrated and had some tempted moments on the field. Later Pujara went onto register another first class century to his name.
