Won’t mind changing my bowling action: Saifuddin

Mohammad Saifuddin is currently in bed rest and waiting for the medical report. If the report suggests, he has to go under the blades then he might have to change his bowling action as well.

Mohammad Saifuddin has been in terrific touch since the last few years for Bangladesh, but his back injury is turning into a concern ahead of India tour.

Saifuddin is suffering from a back injury since a long time and it’s time to do even an operation if the medical report says so. He is currently in a bed rest in England and he might even have to change his bowling action if needed.

However, the fast-bowler doesn’t mind changing his action if it turns out to be the right thing to do.

“They [BCB medical team] are in communication with the doctors in England. Some reports have already been sent to them and some more will be sent soon. We will get to understand the next course of my treatment once all reports are sent to England,” Saifuddin informed reporters from England.

“[In case there is need of a bowling change] I do not mind doing the right things for the sustainability of my career. If you look at Mashrafe [bin Mortaza] bhai, he has played cricket despite a long list of surgeries. I have just started, if might be challenging but I am ready to do anything. Cricket is my bread and butter, my profession,” he added.

Saifuddin has featured in 20 ODIs and 13 T20Is for Bangladesh and he is yet to play in the longer format of the game.
