Harbhajan Singh who has been in the think of things of this year’s Indian Premier League for Chennai Super Kings was seen having a chat with Mumbai Indians’ Yuvraj Singh during the practice session at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai today.

The turbanator served long for Mumbai Indians and then switched to CSK where he was bought for INR 2 crore in the 2018 IPL auction and also went on to win the league with ‘Whistle Podu army’. As far as this season is concerned, Harbhajan Singh picked up 2 wickets in the three matches that he has played.

On the contrary, Mumbai Indians purchased the services of Yuvraj Singh for INR 1 crore. So far, it’s been decent for Yuvi who rediscovered his batting rhythm in the captivating league. Crowd had gone crazy when he belted Yuzvendra Chahal for three sixes on the trot with such ease.

The two cricketers were spotted hugged each other for a photograph a day before the match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at the same venue when India won the 2011 ODI World Cup 8 years ago on this day. Recalling the sweet memory, Harbhajan Singh hailed Yuvraj Singh for his magnificent performances at the World Cup where he was named the Player of the tournament.

Harbhajan Singh said, “He (citing Yuvraj Singh) won us the World Cup. Well done. Thank you”. Hearing this, Yuvraj Singh comes forward to hug him and can be heard saying, “Thank you for getting two wickets in the semi-final against Pakistan and that too at a crucial stage.”
