BCB expects to end discussions on Pakistan tour

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced that discussions with Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) regarding the scheduled tour is expected to reach into a signed agreement.

Bangladesh supposedly play three T20 internationals and two Test matches which will be the part of the ICC World Test Championship, in the tour.

But the ongoing anarchy started when Bangladesh Cricket Board expressed their refusal to tour Pakistan for the longer version matches instead playing only shorter format games. However, BCB insisted to shift Test matches in a neutral venue but PCB persistently denied to do that.

But close sources to Pakistan Cricket Board said that the board persisted on Test tour instead of T20 series to be going on as per schedule and in the home venue.

However, several star Bangladesh cricketers and their families are not willing to travel Pakistan on grounds of security.

Meanwhile Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo declared he has no personal issue touring Pakistan if BCB agreed to send the national team over there.

“If the team is given clearance to go, then I will go. If the team isn’t given clearance, then I definitely won’t go,” Domingo had said.
