Dhoni’s mother says ‘My son is not old’, talks about T20 World Cup future

MS Dhoni’s fans don’t want him to become older. Former India captain Dhoni’s latest grey-bearded look have disappointed many of his fans and they sent Twitter Into a frenzy.

Another fan posted his two photographs-one when he reached to Chennai for the IPL practice games-which eventually had to be called off because of COVID-19 and the other one- a recent one.

Dhoni was seen clean shaven in the first photo and a grey bearded loom in the second photo.

“Dhoni before lockdown vs after lockdown. March month he arrived Chennai with a fresh look & we would hve seen him in #Yellove now But corona had other idea & Ruined everything 💔😔,” he wrote.

“How the men (sic) looks after carrying the entire burden and blame for past 10 years..!  This pic is very emotional msdians..” a Chennai fan wrote.

“Dhoni looks so old..” another tweeted. “Vintage white beard look…” another wrote.


However, people may have been speculating about his old age and retirement but not his mother, Devaki.

Speaking exclusively from Ranchi, the mother on a Mother’s Day said, “Yes, I have seen his new look but he’s not that old. No child is ever old for any mother.”

“I am not sure about his playing the T20 World Cup. Let the coronavirus be over first. He known best when to take a call.”

India chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav strongly feels that Dhoni is in fine form and should be included in the national camp for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia in October-November.

“I am of course missing MS Dhoni. Whenever you play with a senior player, you become fond of them and start missing them and their presence,” Kuldeep told in a recent chat show.

In a recent video, the most experienced India wicket-keeper batsman can be seen enjoying some quality father-daughter moments during this daughter Ziva. The duo can be seen running a friendly race inside the farmhouse to pass their time during this lockdown period.
