Mustafiz to play in Christchurch Test!
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has been named 15-members Bangladesh Test squad prior to the first Test match of two-match Test series against the host New Zealand on Friday. Tigers speedster Taskin Ahmed alongside wicket-keeper batsman Nurul Hasan Sohan, two uncapped cricketers have been bought in the side while Mustafizur Rahman is being rested. Young prodigy of Bangladesh pace bowling department, Mustafiz has been given rest in forthcoming first Test match so that he can get enough time to recover well and come back strongly. It has also learnt through a reliable source of BCB that chances are very high for Mustafizur Rahman to play in the second Test match of the series in Christchurch.
Minhazul Abedin Nannu chief selector of Bangladesh cricket team has also revealed his hope about Mustafizur Rahman’s participation in the second Test match against Black caps. He believes that Mustafiz needs more times and enough rest for recovering well hence they decided to keep him from the outside of first Test team. On Friday during an interview Nannu told, “Physio has informed that bowling in a long spells might create danger for Mustafiz. It won’t good for him to play longer version cricket soon. So, we keep him out of 15-men squad of first Test match.”

To be noted, first Test match of the series will begin from 12 January after this game in a break of 4 days second and last Test match of the series will be commenced from 20 January at Christchurch.
