Watch: Livingstone hits 106m six in BBL match
When a batsman faces a spinner, he should generate more power against the pace of the ball in a bid to hit a six but when he faces a fast bowler, then the batsman should time the ball to perfection. During the ongoing edition of the Big Bash League, Liam Livingstone left the entire stadium in awe when he smashed a sensational 106m six.
The best shot was witnessed when Perth Scorchers took on Adelaide Strikers in the 51st match of the competition. Liam Livingstone’s efforts went in vain as the Adelaide Strikers’ bowlers kept the opposition batsmen in check and ensured a comfortable 16-run win in the end.
During their run-chase of 182, Perth Scorchers failed to up the ante but Liam Livingstone restored confidence with sensible batting. Livingstone’s included one four and 7 sixes including a 106 m six off pacer Michael Nesser. During the 2nd over of the innings, Livingstone launched a humongous six.
KFC Big Bash League posted the video on their Twitter handle along with a caption that reads: “106 m! HUUUUUUUUGE”

Though Liam Livingstone was in full flow with the bat, Wes Agar provided his breakthrough in the 16th over and the game was already over for Perth Scorchers as they were restricted to 165. West Agar was the best bowler on the day as he returned with impressive bowling figures of 3/36 while Billy Stanlake also picked up a couple of wickets.
