Dreams come true for Taskin & Subashis



Bangladesh cricket team’s two speedster Taskin Ahmed and Subashis Roy have been starting their  new journey in Test cricket from Thursday. Visiting side Bangladesh are take on New Zealand in the first match two-match series in Basin Reserve, Wellington where this two lad have made their Test debut. Taskin Ahmed is going to make his Test debut during the first Test against New Zealand it is known to all. On Thursday before the kick off match it has been learnt that not only Taskin Ahmed but also Subashis Roy has all set to make his Test debut too.

Taskin Ahmed and Subashis Roy have been congratulated prior to the match for their new journey in Test cricket. Hense, they have been received their Test caps. Taskin Ahmed has taken his Test cap from the great Courtney Walsh, current bowling coach of Tigers and former West-Indian cricketer. He becomes the 82nd  cricketer of Bangladesh to make his Test debut. Subashis Roy has received his maiden Test cap from the skipper Mushfiqur Rahim. Subashis Roy has received the 83rd caps that means he is the 83rd cricketer of Bangladesh to get the opportunity to play in Test format.

To be noted, Subashis Roy has made his ODI debut during the ODI series against New Zealand. He has played only one ODI match while his domestic career is so impressive. This 28 years old Tigers right arm pacer has impressed the selectors by performing well in the domestic cricket. He has played so far 51 first-class matches from where he has been able to manage 157 first-class wickets at an average of 28.27.
