Prime Bank Cricket Club beat Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club by  3 runs in the top of the table clash. Batting first, Mohammad Mithun was the top scorer for the Prime Bank with 55 runs from 50 balls including five fours and a six. Captain Anamul Haque (29) and Alok Kapali (26) put in two crucial innings respectively to edge Doleshwar to a respectable total of 151 runs from 20 overs. Tamim Iqbal scored 8 runs. The pick of the Malaysian bowlers was Kamrul Islam who finished with two wickets for 22 runs.

Doleshwar’s chase got off to the worst start as inform Imran Uzzaman was out in the first over. Mustafizur Rahman took the all-important wicket. Prime Bank’s bowling unit performed together as a team all taking wickets at important intervals. Mustafizur (3-25), Shoriful Islam (2-15), Rubel Hossain (2-46) ensured the thrilling win. At the end, Kamrul played a cameo innings of 38 runs not out off 12 balls which brought a hope of win but they were 3 runs short. The batsman hit two fours and four sixes in his innings.

Partex Sporting Club vs Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, BKSP-4, Savar

With pacer Salauddin Sakil’s five-for, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club won against Partex Sporting Club comfortably by 6 wickets. Sheikh Jamal bundled out Partex for just 104 runs 19.3 overs as Sakil was instrumental with bowling with the bowling figure of 3.3-0-16-5.

Sheikh Jamal chased the target without any difficulties. Mohammad Ashraful (17), Nasir Hossain (22), Nurul Hasan (30), Elias Sunny (27*) all contributed with batting. Jaynul Islam took 2 wickets for Partex.

Old DOHS Sports Club vs Gazi Group Cricketers, SBNCS, Mirpur

Young Mahmudul Hasan Joy’s unbeaten 85 runs off 55 balls couldn’t able to save Old DOHS Sports Club from defeat as Gazi Group Cricketers picked-up an easy 6-wicket win over them.

Taking first guard, all the batsmen of Old DOHS failed miserably but Joy’s 85-run innings saved them from being humiliated. He struck 3 fours and 7 sixes in his innings and gave his team something to fight as they scored 136/7 in 20 overs. Nasum Ahmed took 2 wickets for Gazi Group.

Chasing 137, openers- Soumya Sarkar and Mahedi Hasan continued their good form as they started aggressively and laid the foundation for victory. Mahedi smashed 22 runs off 10 balls while Soumya scored 37 runs off 35 balls. Mominul Haque (27 runs off 34 balls) and Yasir Ali (24* runs off 18 balls) also played good innings. Spinner Rakibul Hasan picked up 2 wickets for Old DOHS.
