Sunrisers Hyderabad are facing Kolkata Knight Riders in their tournament opener on Sunday.

In 2016, the heritage of ringing bell had initiated at the Eden Gardens before the game starts. Legendary Indian all-rounder Kapil Dev rink the bell for the first time.

Meanwhile Sunrisers Hyderabad’s vice-captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar appreciated Shakib’s assistance in the team.

Bhuvneshwar is leading the side in absence of regular captain Kane Williamson who is out of action today on account of injury troubles. Kane Williamson took the charge from David Warner last year after Warner was suspended for his role in the ball-tampering scandal in a Test match against South Africa.

“I’m very happy to lead the side,” Bhuvneshwar said; “If you look at our side, players like Shakib and Warner are with me to provide the assistance,” he said.

In the first match of the Indian Premier League on Saturday, Chennai Super Kings demolished Royale Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets. Batting first, RCB were bundled out scoring just 70 in their innings.
