It appears from above that 12 out of the 15 top performing bowlers are pacers bowling at mid-130 to 150 kmph. Only three Chahal, Shakib and Imran Tahir are spinners.
This gives an indication that teams having express pace bowlers like Australia, New Zealand, England fared well. Off Course India and Bangladesh having quality all round bowling strength and top performing batsmen are also in the reckoning.
As sun is shining and wicket getting dry spinners will be coming more and more into fore front giving India the edge.
Shakib the number one ranked all rounder in all formats with 476 runs and 10 wickets is on the way to become player of the tournament.
If Bangladesh qualifies to semi-finals Shakib has every opportunity to becoming highest scorer of the tournament and set new milestone as the most successful allrounder.
