Watch: Tom Cooper takes incredible catch so simply in BBL
So much so for the batsmen and bowlers’ exposition of performance in cricket field, fielders as well are stealing limelight these days.
Akin to the one Tom Cooper did in the ongoing Big Bash League on Sunday’s match between Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Renegades.
Cooper grabbed an astonishing catch standing at the mid-wicket boundary but he managed to showcase the effort so simple that it became more attractive in the end.
While Cooper clutched the catch the momentum threw him out of the boundary line but as soon as that he tossed the ball in air, jumped back into the field and then grabbed it back to complete the catch.
However, Cooper’s brilliant effort let Melbourne Renegades to break the first wicket partnership between Jake Weatherald and Philip Salt.
As of the match, Adelaide Strikers reached 173 for six at the end of their innings following Mathew Short’ well struck 41 off just 28 deliveries.
In reply, the Renegades started losing wickets of Marcus Harris and Sam Harper in the first-two overs. Before ten overs count on, Strikers’ lost one more wicket as Peter Siddle removed Shaun Marsh to leave the Renegades in disarray losing three for 60.
Later Afghan performer Mohammad Nabi was dismissed for 6 by his fellow countryman Rashid Khan leaving Melbourne in more catastrophe.
Remember the time when we thought these catches were the most incredible things ever?
